A vertical zip screen is an external blind system in which the fabric is locked into the guide on both sides like a zipper; as a result, it does not flap in the wind and no light or insects get in at the edges. Zipline Neo, with four different box types (110 Soft, 110 Sharp, 130 Sharp, 110 Wave), suits balcony, terrace, pergola and façade applications. Patented plastic tensioning springs keep the fabric taut in every position.
The zippers on both edges of the fabric run locked in the PVC strip inside the side guide profile; the weights in the bottom bar and the plastic springs in the guides keep the fabric taut in every position. The result: an external screen that does not flap in the wind, lets no light through at the edges and keeps out flies and dust.
In wind tunnel tests carried out by METU RÜZGEM, Zipline Neo withstood wind speeds of up to 172 km/h. This superior resistance offers a reliable solution for projects in coastal areas and windy climates.

The zip screen system can be applied to restaurants, cafés, shopping malls, shops, villas or any type of building you wish. It is operated by remote control or push button; its extra-protected fabric is manufactured to be fully resistant to impact, water, sun, snow and wind.
| Maximum area | 16 m² (single piece) |
| Maximum width | 7000 mm |
| Maximum height | 4000 mm |
| Wind resistance | 172 km/h (METU RÜZGEM wind tunnel test) |
| Cassette | 110 mm (Soft, Sharp, Wave) or 130 mm (Sharp) extruded aluminium |
| Roller tube | 78 mm galvanised steel tube |
| Side guide profile | 43 × 43 mm, three-part: guide, PVC zip strip and screw cover profile; with plastic springs |
| Bottom bar | 29 × 49 mm weighted bottom bar, held in the guide by plastic end caps |
| Fabric | Copaco and Serge Ferrari screen fabrics |
| Control | Tubular motor (remote control, push button, smart home); crank, chain or manual control |
| Colour | All RAL colours and wood-effect transfer coating |
The vertical zip screen is produced in four cassette forms; the choice is made according to the lines of the façade and the installation location.
| Series | Cassette size | Form |
|---|---|---|
| Neo 110 Soft | 119 × 110 mm | Rounded front face; classic and soft façades |
| Neo 110 Sharp | 109 × 110 mm | Sharp-edged, most compact cassette; modern façades |
| Neo 130 Sharp | 130 × 130 mm | Sharp-edged large cassette; for the widest and tallest openings |
| Neo 110 Wave | 119 × 110 mm | Wave-shaped front face; new series |
The vertical zip screen can be operated in six different ways depending on project needs: remote control, wall switch, smart home system, crank, chain system and manual control. In motorised systems the tubular motor is concealed inside the cassette; wind and sun sensors can be added.

The system uses Copaco and Serge Ferrari screen fabrics specially designed for outdoor conditions. All aluminium components are suitable for painting in RAL colours and for wood-effect transfer coating. If desired, any image or text suitable for the fabric colour and print quality can be printed onto the fabric.

One of the most important issues for outdoor screen systems is wind resistance. Its importance becomes clear when fabric tears and profile deformations occur in systems exposed to high-speed winds. Zipline Neo, in terms of both the fabrics and the aluminium components used, withstands wind speeds of up to 172 km/h. (METU RÜZGEM, Wind Tunnel Test Report)
